"Nice! Rich, dark and full. I have not had the Frederick Tranter version for comparison, but I have had most of Wilson's SPs. This is a top notch SP. I find it richer in bergamot than Tom Buck and the Virginia tobacco in this has a nice leathery fullness to it. Most Wilsons have a Zimbabwe tobacco, so the different character is evident here. It has more of a robust nature, I would say. Extremely satisfying."
"My favorite SP. Although not enough to make one's head spin, it has a respectable nicotine content that can give you the hiccups. Great sensation in the nose: silky feel and pleasant burn. Could be an all-day snuff, but I use it after-dinner or when relaxing watching TV. Best to be savored. I buy in bulk."
"Fine grind, moist, strong, leathery all American tobacco with a strong bergamont kick. It's called Gold Label as it's one of the best snuffs out there. I buy it in 0.5lb drums"
"Gold Label, What does it mean? I take it won an award.
This is an SP It is light red tint brown in color. The moisture level is medium. The grind is fine.
This has some serious burn that is short lived and then the wonderful scent. Not easy to snuff I find it travels fast, so it get some getting use to. A stronger version of the Sp 100 being it has more of the same character. Very light and fluffy. I enjoy it."
